Tekrider is please to introduce the 2007Power
Touring Gear clothing line. This suit features
a technically advanced jacket and pant combo that is just
right for the new generation of rider-forward sleds. What
started out 8 years ago as an XC pant developed for 2-time,
I500 winner Todd Wolff has gradually evolved
into the most comfortable set of performance bibs available
today! Think about it, next to your hands, what
part of the body is in constant contact with the sled?
Besides the constant butt/seat contact, how many riders
find their knees hitting the hoods of the new generation
of rider-forward sleds? Don't you think we could use a bit
more technology and design savvy in the pants we wear? Here's
what the Supertrax Crew had to
say about their experience last year with pre-production
TXC pants;

Hey Tekrider,
I'd like to pass on my overwhelming satisfaction with the
new PTG riding suit. This high-tech suit is of the same top-notch
quality that I have been accustomed to over the many years
that I've been using your gear. As a test rider for Snow Goer
Canada Magazine, I've evaluated a lot of gear over the past
15 years and can tell you that your PTG suit is real easy
to like! The new PTG riding suit has outstanding versatility
and an awesome array of features. It's very comfortable and
a perfect match for my riding style and testing duties. I'm
totally at home in the PTG suit, whether its in Europe, the
US, or, back home in Ontario. I've gotta tell you that the
venting options are awesome and let me operate in a huge range
of temperatures without having to stop and dress up or down.
Well done Tekrider! |
PS - I have steadfastly encouraged
snowmobilers to wear a Tekvest, no matter what speed they
ride at! It's mandatory for racers but trail riders need
to include it as standard equipment to! It's more than a
protector- it's an excellent insulator and wind stopper
to. I use it as my principal mid-layer and feel naked without
it! Just like your ads say; I've got to be somewhere Monday
morning and wouldn't leave home without it!

Here's Mark Lester getting his 1st miles
on the Apex and PTG.

"Last year we racked up 1000's of miles
on the proto gear and we can tell you they make the
hands down best bibs we've ridden with. The TXC bibs
are clearly designed to work with the new generation
of Rider-Forward sleds. The key features include padded
articulated knee ergos and fit like a tailored Tux.
Warm, durable and extremely comfortable, we're gonna
wear these things until they've got holes. A great match
for their TXC Jacket and Jersey. With or without a Tekvest,
the PTG line is a great package for the serious high-miler".
