Some friendly advice (and persistent badgering) from Chris Carlson, Sportech's CEO and chief test pilot, got the whole thing going. Chris is an avid racer and rather particular about his gear. It shows in the quality of his products. He's kind of an in-your face flashy dude who has tremendous instincts and design savy. Chris and his racing family members have been flying Tekvest for many years and he's been bugging me for as many years to "step it up" and gets some rad styling. Last year at Hay Days we finally got down to the short strokes when Chris recommended the diamond plate look and offered to lend his technical prowess to adapt his proven Cobra Windshield technology to the world of Tekvest. We tested a bunch of proto configurations last winter in order to get the formula just right for our customers. It's our 10 th anniversary here at Tekrider and we really think the Diamond Plate trim sets a new standard.
