| During the last week of October I joined Gamma Sales President, Mike Shean, on a 7-day visit to Scandinavia. Gamma Sales is a well-known Canadian distributor of snowmobile, ATV and motorcycle parts and the exclusive Canadian distributor of the Tekvest and all-new PTG line. The purpose of the trip was to introduce the PTG line to our Swedish distributor, Duells, and to visit several dealers who had been selected to handle the PTG line. Steve and Mike conducted sales training at 10 dealers and visited others on a 2000 km trip in central Sweden in the company of Duell's Snowmobile Product Manager, Peter Larvia. We visited during the lead up week to "Snowmobiler's Day" held every year in Sweden on the last weekend in October. On this weekend all snowmobile dealers in Sweden hold open houses at their dealerships. It's a big deal with lots of media attention - a cool concept that generates a lot of cross-brand consumer traffic between all dealerships in a given town. We woke up one morning to 10" of fresh snow and of course we just had to turn a track! Our local dealer Lars Johan obliged us with a mint Lynx snowmobile. The week went very fast but gave us an excellent feel for the Swedish market. On the return trip I dropped off to visit dealers in Iceland and conduct sales training. There's a really keen bunch of sled-heads in Iceland who love the sport. Tekvest has a high profile thanks to the efforts of Iceland's best known Sno Cross star "Lexi" Karason. Once again it snowed and I was forced to ride a new Crossfire provided by my most gracious host, Birkir Sigurdsson, of Ice Hobby Sports in Akureyri, Iceland. The scenery was spectacular and I can't wait to get back there. The Scandinavians where quite excited about the PTG concept and the market is looking for alternative product to try.
