Tekrider Pant Feedback

Further to your request for candid feedback on the Tekrider pant I have been wearing these protos for the past 3 riding seasons and here's my comments:

I have been riding these pants, along with your Tekrider Jacket & TekVest combo, now for 3 seasons, logging in the order of 6000 miles each season. My riding style would be described as aggressive, high mile, touring rides. I am the type of rider who is somewhat active on my Ski Doo Mach Z or 800 MXZ X.

In short, these pants are the best pant I have ever ridden in. The articulated knee along with the padded shins is perfect for rider forward positioning and the overall fit of the pant allows for easy transition from sitting to a stand up riding position. The strap/bib configuration is compact enough to do the job of keeping your back warm while not adding bulk under the TekVest and I the side draw straps ensure that the pants don't sag or hang off my hips. I have ridden these pants in -40 degree temperatures and find that simply adding an additional layer of quality polypropylene underwear ensures a warm, comfortable ride. The pants seem to breathe and the result is I've never felt to hot or too cold.

An added bonus is that I can simply throw these pants in to the washing machine, then to the dryer for a bit and they come out looking like new. Great for me as I can even trust my wife to wash them. Bad for you as I expect to wear these again this year. So that's 4 years on a pair of snowmobile pants...EXCELLENT!
