This was my first year riding with a Tekvest. I purchased a Competition SX  Pro-lite at Hay Days. I'm a very aggressive trail rider and wanted that little bit of extra protection. I got used to wearing the Tekvest after only a few rides. I now wear it even for a quick ride to the trail to see how they are (only 2 miles)and feel "naked" if I don't wear it. Towards the end of the season I was riding in some fields when I hit a rock at a high rate of speed.

The force of the accident sent me into the handlebars and then over the hood. The rock did over $5000 worth
of damage including the chassis being bent. I was able to get back on and ride it over to the rest of the group for a quick picture in the field and then attempted to take it home.

I tried to limp the sled home down the road when it broke some more and rolled down the road sending me sliding on a gravel road. Through all of this, I only received a bruise on my knee where it hit the handlebars. I have attached a picture of me and my sled taken moments after the crash. None of my upperbody was sore, the TekVest did a wonderful job.
